Chittagong-- – Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange closed higher yesterday (Monday) as the gainers dominated the losers.

The CSE All Share Price Index rose by 5.53 points or 0.41 percent to close at 1341.41 points from 1335.88 points on Saturday.

Of the 44 listed securities traded yesterday, 31 gained, seven declined and six remained unchanged.

Some 672,760 shares and debentures valued at Tk 2.22 crore were transacted against 709,800 shares worth Tk 3.61 crore on the previous trading day.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 55.18 billion as against Tk 54.97 billion on Saturday.
